Description
A Classic Mascara is designed to lengthen, volumize, and define your natural eyelashes for an instant eye-opening effect.
Step-by-Step Application Guide
1. Prep the Lashes
-
Start Clean: Ensure your eyelashes are free from oils, moisturizer, or residual makeup.
-
Curl (Optional): Use an eyelash curler before applying mascara to lift the lashes. Never curl lashes after applying mascara, as dried product can cause breakage.
2. Load the Wand Properly
-
Gently twist the wand out of the tube instead of pumping it up and down. Pumping forces air inside, drying out the formula faster.
-
Wipe any excess product off the wand tip against the rim of the tube to prevent clumping.
3. Apply to Upper Lashes
-
Root to Tip: Place the mascara wand at the base/root of your upper lashes.
-
Wiggle & Lift: Slowly sweep upward while wiggling the brush side-to-side in a slight zigzag motion. This separates individual lashes and deposits color evenly at the roots for extra volume.
-
Corners: Use the tip of the applicator wand to catch short lashes in the inner and outer corners of the eyes.
4. Apply to Lower Lashes (Optional)
-
Hold the wand vertically or use just the tip of the brush.
-
Lightly sweep across lower lashes with a soft hand to prevent smudging on the under-eye skin.
5. Layer for Drama
-
If you want a more dramatic look, apply a second coat while the first coat is still slightly tacky/wet.
-
Avoid applying more than 2–3 coats to prevent clumping or a heavy, “spidery” appearance.
Pro Tips for Flawless Lashes
-
Fixing Smudges: If mascara accidentally gets on your skin, let it dry completely. Once dry, flick it off easily with a dry spoolie brush or clean cotton swab without messing up your eye makeup.
-
Lash Comb: Keep a clean spoolie or lash comb nearby to comb through lashes immediately after application if any clumps form.
