Description
Excellence Curling Mascara is specially formulated with a curved brush wand and a hold-flex polymer formula designed to lift, curl, and lock straight or drooping lashes in place without needing falsies.
Step-by-Step Application Guide
1. Prep & Curl
-
Clean Lashes: Make sure lashes are clean, dry, and free of oil or creams so the curling formula grips properly.
-
Optional Lash Curler: For maximum dramatic curl, gently press an eyelash curler at the base of your lashes for 5 seconds before applying mascara.
2. Position the Curved Wand
-
Hold the wand so that the curved side arches downward (like a U-shape) to hug the curve of your eyelid.
-
Place the brush directly at the very root of your upper eyelashes.
3. Lift, Wiggle & Roll
-
Wiggle at the Base: Gently wiggle the wand side-to-side at the root to deposit product and anchor the hold.
-
Roll & Lift Upward: As you sweep the brush upward toward the tips of your lashes, rotate the wand slightly upward to roll the curve through your lashes, holding the tips up for a brief second to lock in the curl.
4. Build Volume & Separate
-
Outer Corners: Use the tip of the curved wand to lift the outer corner lashes upward and outward for a wide-eyed, winged effect.
-
Second Coat: Apply a second coat while the first layer is still tacky (within 30–60 seconds) to build extra volume without weighing the curl down.
-
Lower Lashes: Turn the wand sideways or use the tip to lightly sweep over lower lashes.
Pro Tips for Long-Lasting Curl
-
Avoid Overloading: Wipe off excess product from the tip of the wand onto the tube rim before applying. Too much heavy liquid on the lashes can weigh down the curl before it sets.
-
Let It Set: Resist blinking heavily or touching your eyes for 30 seconds after application while the curling polymers dry and set into shape.
-
Fixing Smudges: If mascara touches your eyelid, let it dry completely, then flick it off cleanly using a dry cotton swab or clean spoolie brush.
